One of the great things about being a photographer is meeting new & awesome people. It was such a joy to meet & photograph this family with 3 rambunctious boys.

The Hope's
I cannot even begin to tell you how special this family is to me. Sometimes you KNOW God places a person in your life for a reason and my friend Lana is one of those people. We meet almost 9 years ago when our boys with Down Syndrome were just babies. I cherish our friendship so much and the things she has taught me over the years. We may be busy and don't get to see eachother nearly as often as we'd like, but when we do (sometimes with months in between) we can pick up like we saw eachother just yesterday. Now that's how you know someone is a true friend! Thank you Lana & family for being a part of my life!

The Farrell Family
Fall just dosn't get any better than this! beautiful locations, beautiful weather & beautiful people (inside & out!), who could ask for more? We even took a slight detour and played at a nearby playground. I loved that this family were relaxed, and enjoyed the shoot, and it shows how much they enjoy being togehter in the portraits.

Ashley's Senior Portraits
When Ashley asked me to do her senior portraits I was so excited, I knew with her unique style and fun loving personality that we would have a blast. Although you can't tell in the photos, it was FREEZING that day, I think the temps somplace around high 40's & snowing (brrrrrrr!) Ashley was such a trooper, she was even willing to jump into the river when I jokingly suggested it! LOL She came with lots of awesome ideas of her own which gave her photos a edge that was uniqely her. I especially loved her choice of wearing Converse with the stunning dress, it is so Ashley! (even if her Mom was mortified at her choice of footwear). Oh! and I also have Ashley to thank for my new favorite obession this winter, Chai Latte's with Peppermint syrup...yummy!

Wedding at the Boise LDS Temple ~ Boise Wedding Photographer
I love trying new things, so doing my first wedding at the Boise LDS Temple was a blast! I was a bit nervous to do a shoot here, but a HUGE thanks to my amazing and wonderful friend Lana for taking me on a little "field trip" of the Temple grounds to check it out and for answering all my silly questions- I was so afraid to do the wrong thing, wear the wrong thing, say the wrong thing... but luckily she calmed my fears (while inwardly giggling too I'm sure!)
This couple was just so sweet, I loved how the bride was just bubbling over with joy and love. We got so many amazing images, the Temple grounds are so beautiful and the fall backdrop was just stunning. Now I can't wait to book another wedding at the Temple!

The Lakey Family
Stylish family + way too cute kids + beautiful fall weather= an awesome photo shoot!
It took a little while for the little one to warm up, but once she did she was posing like a little diva! ( she's got lots of example form her big sisters!) And oh my goodness, the little man, what a ham, he was more than happy to be in front of the camera!
