I love these growing up sessions, I have photographed lil' miss Eva since she was in her Mommy's tummy. Now she is a year old (boy does time fly!). She is the sweetest girly girl, with all her darling outfits and accessories. Even the way she walks is so dainty. But she has some attitude underneath too, she's not afraid to give you the stink eye either. LOL Gotta love kids. Happy Birthday Eva!

The Jones Family Portraits - Kuna, Idaho Photographer

I love that the Jones' chose to do their session at their home. Home is a location that not only has sentimental value but holds memories. As we shot portraits in the willow trees the kids like to climb in, on the porch where they hang out and spend time together, and on the bikes (little kid & big kid ones too!) on the sidewalk. An all American summer evening shoot of a truly amazing family!

The B Family Portraits - Boise, Idaho Photographer

I love late evening shoots at the park, its such a nice break after the hot temps of the day to stroll and enjoy the outdoors. Because of the cold spring, we were lucky to find wild daises still in bloom. These photos are extra special, because they also include Grandma and Grandpa before they went back home to Argentina. Melinda and Kirt Engagement Portraits - Treasure Valley Photographer

Kirt & Melinda are such a darling couple. Add her boys... I have never seen brothers who so willingly hugged and posed for the camera! LOVE! We started out our session by the creek where their wedding will being held, then we went to Kirt's parents home to do some shots in the field. I cannot tell how how many stickers from the cheat grass I had embedded in my pants! LOL I think it took me 20 minutes to pull them all out when I got home. (now that was an uncomfortable drive LOL) BUT it was all worth it. Look at that beautiful grass glowing in the evening sun. Perfection! Congratulations Melinda & Kirt, I can't wait to photograph your wedding!

Borah Cheer Camp

I had the pleasure of photographing the Borah Cheer Camp this summer. It was a fun filled 3 days of little girls dancing, jumping, and of course cheering. A huge thanks to all the cheerleaders and coaches for a great camp!

Boyd Wedding

You may have seen many of these photos already on facebook, thats where I post my "sneak peeks" and sometimes it takes me a while to get them up here on the blog. But here they are!

Matt & Lauren's wedding was filled with love and laughter. My second shooter, Megan Wright, and I meet up with the Bride at the salon capturing all the details of the day. We went on to the church (where we had a funny mishap with the alarms!) where the rest of the wedding party and the groom, Matt, were getting ready. Matt & Lauren opted to do portraits before the ceremony so they would have ample time for lots of creative shots. We started with an intimate first look, and then spent lots of time exploring the "old" side of the newly renovated church. Finishing up with lots of family portraits. Leaving time for everyone to relax and prepare for the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful in front of the indoor waterfall with family and friends looking on. On to the reception with large TV's displaying pictures of the Matt & Lauren growing up all the way to their engagement portraits. In addition to the gorgeous wedding cake there was A coffee bar, and a candy bar. A perfect day for a perfect couple! May God bless you both richly for MANY years Matt & Lauren! Congratulations!!
