Magic Valley Photography
I was so excited when Jackee booked her session. We went to High School, and were in band together. And as many high school friendships seem to go, I haven't seen her since. So it was extra special to not only get to see each other again, but also to meet her two beautiful children. It was a gorgeous morning, everything was so lush and pretty. We even crashed a wedding at the rose garden. LOL (ok the wedding wasn't going yet they were just setting up...) We chatted bout how it was a perfect picnic day and how we all were hankerin' for some sub sammies. Yummm!

This photography session was done in Twin Falls, Idaho. Although I live in the Boise area I have family in Twin, and visit from time to time. Watch my facebook page for announcemenets of special session dates in the Magic Valley, sessions are very limited when I do! Or if I have 3 or more sessions booked I am happy to make a special trip down for you.EnJoY!

The Huskys Funky Downtown Family Portraits
I love it when a family is open to try out anything! It was great photographing this family, on a rainy summer evening. Actually the weather made it quite nice. It was a casual session where everyone was just themselves and had a fun time doing it! The best kind of shoot!

My daughter joind us on this shoot (as she often does...my little future photographer in training). Although she is only 6 she has many times been a huge help, making kiddos smile, holding reflectors, and more. But as many of my clients have witnessed she can be a bit of a clutz too. She has more than once tripped, fell, even once had to be rescued off a huge rock. Well this time she managed to fall off a 5ft high rock wall...belly flop onto the pavement. Ack! She was fine though....maybe I should be photographing all these little incidents and someday compile them into a post.
EnJoY!

First Communion
It was a pleasure to do these first communion portraits. I just love how the light is just illuminating the boys. It seems like Gods love is just glowing off the pages of His word. Congratulations Kyler & Kaden on this important accomplishment. I know you worked hard for it! I pray for Gods blessings on your life as you grow in your relationship and walk with your Lord and Savior.

Bundle of Joy
I've had this idea in my head for a while now. Yesterday while the kiddos were at VBS and the house was quiet I decided to seize the moment. (its so hard to find time to take portraits of my own kids!)
This series of photos have a lot of meaning behind them as well. I remember my Grandmother telling me about her baby brother and how her Mom, (my Great Grandmother) used a dresser drawer as a cradle. The painting on top of the dresser was painted by another Grandma. The beautiful blanket was crocheted by my Mom. A few pictures down: the little outfit was my firstborns, and all 3 of my boys wore it. Plus the cute little bunny was handmade by a friend and represents all the special friendships that have blessed our lives.
I'm so happy that I took a few quiet moments and created these portraits. Thats what photography is all about, capturing a priceless moment in time.

baby Allie, 2 weeks new
Babies, babies babies! Not only have I had the pleasure of photographing many newborns lately, but there is also an abundance of babies in my life. This sweet lil' angel is my niece, only 3 weeks younger than my own sweet angel. We are thrilled for this new addition in our family! (and my daughter is happy to not be the only girl anymore!) Welcome Allie!!
