Baby Kate

I love Facebook! Such a great place to reunite with long lost friends. This is Angie my best best friend in Junior High. Unfortunately I moved our 9th grade year. Of course we kept in touch as well as we could, there was no texting, IM, or facebook then; in fact a phone call to each other was long distance. As time went on we grew further and further apart. then life of kids, husbands, and careers and we completely lost touch. Until recently, through facebook not only did we find each other again, but realized we have lived for the past 7 years only a mile apart! Life is so crazy sometimes! Here we are in 8th grade (and I'm pretty sure I'm wearing a banana clip! Ha ha!)

I was so excited when she called me and asked me to photograph her new baby! It was so wonderful to get to spend a few hours catching up and cuddling this precious little girl! Its always amazing to see how life makes a full circle. Kate's big brother was a big help being my assistant, holding props and backgrounds for me. He is going to be a great big brother! (I'm pretty sure he is quite smitten with her!) Congratulations Nathan & Angie on your baby girl!

Meet Harper

Hooray! She is here! Meet little Miss Harper. After capturing Travis & Hanna's wedding last summer, then their maternity portraits, and now their first family portraits, I feel like we are great friends, and not just their photographer. One of the best things about my job, meeting great people and capturing their lives as they grown and change. Welcome little one, I look forward to watching you grow!

Welcome Miss Paytyn!

Precious, perfect, little baby girls. I'm not sure there is anything better in this world. Paytyns Mom started planning her photos shortly after she found out she was expecting a little girl. She would send me pictures of outfits, and hats she had bought for the session, and I couldn't wait! (as you can see she had some adorable things!) Welcome to the world Paytyn! I know you are well loved!

Forest, Jamie & Baby Dara

Ahhhh! Spring! I love each time I come to the park it is a little greener, the trees are a little fuller, and the flowers blooming. I photographed this cute family last summer when Dara was only a couple months old, now she is a chubby, cutie with so much personality. She even let us play with all kinds of fun dress up props (girls are so much fun!). Dara's parents are involved in roller derby and Jamie even started her own business Strollerderby, so naturally we had to do some fun portraits in their gear!

And here she is! Through the magic of blogging no need to wait several months to meet Baby Garidel. Isn't she such a doll? Mom and I had wayyyy too much fun playing with all the girly props, flowers and headbands. Its a great way to get my baby girl fix!
